Maighread MacKay is a Canadian Author and member of the WCDR (Writers’ Community of Durham Region), and the Visionary Fiction Alliance (VFA).

Her body of work includes four novels - Stone Cottage, Murder at Mother’s, The Haunting of Hawk Ridge’s Hall and Finding Charli; three books for children; three editions of Christmas Soup for the Soul; an anthology of inspirational parables - Stepping Stones; and inclusion in a Solstice Publishing anthology - Let’s Have Fun. Her poem, Goodnight, Grandmother Moon is included in B Cubed Press – Poetry for the Thoughtful Young.

Maighread is inspired by nature, as well as fantasy and imagination. Most importantly she searches her heart for inspiration, hoping to touch the hearts of the people who view and purchase her work.
